Joboshare MPEG to DVD Converter is a DVD authoring utility. It can be used to convert your MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MP4, M2V, MPG, DAT and VOB files so that they can be burned onto a blank DVD. The app comes with a burner built in, so you won't need to use a separate application for that.
The first step to creating a DVD movie out of your video files is to load them into the application. You can do this by selecting a single file or a folder with multiple files in it. Once your files are loaded, you will be able to check the size of the compilation by looking at a time bar at the bottom of the screen. This bar can be configured to show the remaining space both for DVD5 and DVD9 compilations. Once that is done, you can choose one of the many menu templates available. You can edit them by setting your own background music and pictures. Each one of the files that you add to your compilation will show a snapshot in the menus, which you can click on to select the file for playback. If you choose not to add a menu, your files will start playing just as soon as the disc is inserted.
Joboshare MPEG to DVD Converter comes with a basic video editor, which lets you trim your clips and set the snapshots that will be used in the menus manually. It is missing a few features, though, like the ability to adjust brightness, contrast and saturation.
